I created this concept shortly after watch Klaus - easily the prettiest Christmas movie I’ve ever seen. I loved the way the film handled texture and colour, and the stylisation of everything was some of the best I’ve seen. However, stuck in a cold winter in England, I didn’t fancy dwelling on a cool image for a while, so started experimenting with this Mill, in a very warm Autumn.
It was a really interesting project. Trying to simplify everything a little further than I would normally was a great challenge, and I got to spend some time looking at windmills which is always fun.
