Is it a bird? Is it a plane? It’s a plane.
This was a mini project I managed to squeeze in between some other stuff. Wanted to take a crack at designing a Jet Fighter, and work on my brushwork a bit.
Pretty standard process for this kind of project, started with a bunch of very loose thumbnails. Used grease pencil to resolve the proportions and forms, then worked on top of the grease pencil renders for the final concept. Still loving the 2D to 3D to 2D workflow.
